Right.  I was assuming a normal protein intake.  Most people don't overeat  
on protein, it's the carbs (and sometimes the fats) that are the problem.

That 100 grams varies, btw, depending on the person's bodyweight, muscle  
mass, and exercise program.  The protein needs for a sedentary 120-lb  
woman is going to be considerably lower than for a 200-lb male  
weightlifter.
