I used to have horrific allergies. My diet didn't seem to make any
difference one way or the other. I finally had enough and went to an
allergy specialist and got tested. I was allergic to 32 of the 35 things
they tested for. They made up a serum with a small amount of the
allergens that I took by injection every week for two or three years,
supposedly to build up immunity -- and it worked. I hardly notice my
allergies anymore. My son had similar issues, and a similar regimen (his
was taken sublingually) resolved it for him as well. I'm not a big fan of
doctors generally, but for allergies, if your diet doesn't work, you might
consider getting tested and see if there's a serum to build up a tolerance.
