Cranberry has been scientifically shown to prevent adhesion of E.coli
bacteria (the main cause of urinary tract infection) to the bladder wall.
It's an old folk remedy from the Mississippi they say. It does help. So does
drinking lots of water. 2-3 lit/day.

Spelling: urinary, urethra.
