I found your remark that I "Please read the book before asking questions that
can be answered by reading it" really rude.  Maybe I don't have the money to
buy THE BOOK right now, because my husband just received a big cut in his
paycheck in order to avoid his company closing, thanks to the recession....

Nonetheless, its not your concern what my personal reason is for not having
read Cordain's  book.  I am truly sorry that I have not run out like a good
paleogirl  and bought my copy hot off the press.

Mortgage payment, bills, kids clothes and food on the table come first right
now...

I thought this list was a forum where we could share ideas!  And  much of
what is shared comes from an article here, a book there, etc. that members
bring to the attention of others.  That generates questions.  Some of us use
this list as a filter for  the tons of information out there.   Please don't
be such an effete snob next time, Don.

Hunter gatherers get along much better than that.....................
