I tend to avoid this by allowing myself a treat once in a while such as a pint of Häagen-Dazs. I know this is totally unpaleo but I find it allows the rest of my diet to be totally paleo without feeling deprived at all. I've been
eating a big salad everyday and have increased my consumption of veggies over the past few weeks. I believe Ray has admitted to a weakness for Häagen-Dazs too. Being a Crohnie, I don't have to worry about my
weight except maybe not being able to maintain it. My weight has stablilized since I've been eating paleo. I concentrate on eating beef, pork, and chicken with some fish.
