I was prepared for wanting to eat the placentas but did not want to -
possibly becuase my haemoglobin levels  were high after both births
[1st
birth was at home/natural/midwife assisted and the second was
emergency
c-section] The hospital froze the placenta for me after the c-section
and then decided they would not release it becuase they were worried
about what we wanted it for. We were intending to preserve the cord
and
bury the placenta as we had done for our daughter.
