Alot of new Californians have joined the list,  thats great!  I too am an
original California girl. Born in No. Cal, traveled with my hubby while
in the service, lived 9 years in San Diego, and am now in Central Cali.
I have been on NeanderThin since Oct. 99. I have Graves Disease, (thyroid
problems) and have had trouble losing weight, among many other side
effects of Graves. Since Oct. 99 I have lost 25 pounds and 29 inches. ( i
measure from head to toe all over)  For others who have been listening to
me moan about my Graves, I had blood drawn for a full T blood scan.  2
weeks ago they did my TSH which was 0.01 and thyroxine which was a normal
level.  The goiter on my left side is starting to grow again, heading
towards the side and back of my neck. The one on the right is still
large, but not getting bigger. I have now been diagnosed with Thyroid eye
disease also.  I know the Neanderthin has helped me a get deal, but my
Endocrinologist is wanting to shoot me with RAI.  Or surgery.  Not sure
what to do at this point.  I told him I will take 3 more months to think
about it and let him know.  I went for a second and 3rd opinion in the
mean time, and both Endo's agree I should have RIA or surgery.  On a good
note, I feel wonderful and not tired anymore.
