Is he already "low carb" ?

That makes a big difference in those factors, so a paleo low-carb diet would
help.

There's a whole chapter of Dr. Sears' "The Age-Free Zone" that deals with male
hormones and male performance issues (including an explanation of how Viagra
works, and how diet and supplements can have similar effects, such as Arginine
supplementation by eating turkey).

Basically, excessive insulin is particularly bad for male performance, as
type-2 diabetics discover.
