>>Is there anyone who knows if there is any calcium in shrimp shells?

the shell is constitued of a protein . don't remember the name of the
amino
acid that is also in the shell of insects . This amino acid ,i have
been
told by a researcher on insect eating is found mainly if not only in
the
shell of insects and crustaceans.
>>I seldom eat shrimps, but when I do I often eat the whole shrimp.
>>At the coast of the African country Camerun they eat shrimps a lot,
>>and they eat them whole. Actually "camerun" means shrimp in one of
>>the 900 languages of Camerun.

Once dried whole the shell become very much edible melting in the
mouth .
fresh it is quite chewy and elastic..
soon (begining of november ) i will dry a lot . write me if you want
some
