Nobody has a problem with Amadeus being a vegetarian.
I certainly do not.  The issue extends much wider than
A's choice of diet.

That is the bone of contention.  Defending his choice
with paleolithic arguments is what is getting him into
so much trouble.

Of course, not.  But, if I spent a couple of years on
a vegetarian list arguing that my present omnivorous diet
was indeed a vegetarian diet, then I might expect to meet
some animated resistance from time to time, no?
