I checked for celery root at the store tonight and almost passed out when I
saw
the price - 2.69 a pound!!!!  One bulb, which I'm sure I could have eaten in
one night, no problem, was about $6.  Is this normal?  Could it be out of
season or something?

Anyone have suggestions on finding it at a reasonable price - or on growing
it?
