Ron Hoggan keeps charging Geoffrey Purcell with “racism.” Are you aware of
the findings of Sociobiology since the 1970's stating that ethnocentrism and
xenophobia are a deep part of human nature, genetically and culturally
formed in Hunter Gather times, to help the various groups survive against
other competing groups, and that this human nature still remains, just as
the Paleo-food way of eating remains in our nature as it was designed in
Hunter Gatherer times. Now we all want to find a way around racism but it is
as difficult as trying to find a way around the Paleo Diet. The same human
nature remains. For me, respect for human variety and forming small
independent states is the way I think about realistically dealing with the
ethnocentric and xenophobic aspects of human nature, as I mentioned earlier.
It seems easier to find the foods that were best designed for human nature
then to find how best to live together, given human nature.
