Gawen, I think a lot of people on the list take supplements and
vitamins
because our food just does not contain what it used to anymore. A few
months ago there was a mail in which somebody had figures of how the
amount of vitamines declined over the years.
Does anyone still have this mail?
It is not just romanticising (spelling? ) if people say things used to
taste better. A lot has been breeded out in favor of speed and
quantity.
I take fishoil, MSM, selenium and a few others without which I think I
wouldn't get enough.
Tomatoes from the supermarket usually taste like **** to me. Organic
is
a lot better but still not what it could be.
There is a foundation that keeps and preserves 'old' seed and
varieties
of foods.

It might be a thought to try and find them and see if we could get
seeds from
older sorts and try and raise our own foods where possible.
Thought occured to me just now ;-)

Christy
