The flowers of Jerusalem artichokes have the most lovely smell I have ever
encountered--indescribable.

Many people don't like to grow Jerusalem artichokes because they are
invasive.  Even if you plow them under, you can't get rid of them.  Every
little piece of root becomes a new plant.
