I have no idea if she's still practicing, but my aunt, Dr. Barbara A.
Prian, is a cardiologist and quite well known in the field.  She follows
the "less is more" philosophy when it comes to medication and has a lot
of experience reducing the number of medicines a patient is on and
getting good or better results.  She is quite experienced with
alternative medicine _as well_ (in addition to being an experienced
allopathic cardiologist).  Last I checked she was in Scottsdale, Arizona
but mentioned moving to Seattle.  Wish I knew more.
