A roti is from the Indian of Pakistani cuisine.  It is a mixture of a
pancake and bread.  Mostly a flat piece of bread and ever so delicious.
But it's made of flour so a nono for us. I invented a different roti
that is very tasty but since it contains quite some nuts it is high in
claories
The recipe is not on www.paleofood.com <http://www.paleofood.com> but
maybe I should post it  there.
Take ground almond and walnutflour (or any kind you happen to have), mix
with a bit of arrowrootpowder.  Add an egg, bit of salt, drop of oil and
carefully mix in water. When it has the consistency of runny porridge
it's okay. Then a big spoonful in a nonstick fryingpan, medium heat,
slowly let it firm, turn over and voila!  One delicious
roti/pancake/flatbread.  Usually one takes a piece of roti and rolls a
piece of meat in it.
If you add  honey it's a base for something sweet.   We had some with
whipped cream with honey.  Or add to batter cut up dried apricots or
figs or dates.
If the batter is slightly thicker you can make muffins with it.
The batter keeps in the fridge overnight and thickens a bit so add a bit
of water in the morning if necessary.  Very quick and easy to make and
very tasty.
I  usually grind nuts once a week and keep the flour in airtight jars.
