Except that a week is a modern time division.

Really things would have been seasonal. If winter, or the dry season, then
they probably ate meat up until they went hunting again. In summer, or wet
season, they probably just ate carbs and didn't bother with hunting. But
this depends on what latitude. More hunting in ones far from the equator,
more carbs in ones closer to the equator.
