Are *all* reptiles edible?

We only have slow-worms, grass snakes and a few small lizards here, but it
might be useful to know if they could be eaten. Personally, I have my eye
on our resident rabbit population. They've recently taken to breeding with
released domestic rabbits, which produces a beautiful variety of colours
out on the common.

Do pet rabbits taste the same as wild ones? I'm curious about all the
different breeds and whether this affects the quality of the meat. I admit
to being soft about bunnies, having had some as pets in the past, but once
they've gone native, they're in another category <g>

I agree with Kristina about cost. Just last night I discovered a new
restaurant on the island specializing in exotic meats. The prices are
unbelievably high.

Cheers,

Persephone
