All,

I have a dear friend who I've just found out some interesting health
history about.  She's 51 years old and at 25 was diagnosed with
Ulcerative Colitis and was given massive doses of cortisone.  She was
at a few points near death, it was so serious.  According to my friend,
the cortisone has caused massive joint deterioration and bone death
(aseptic necropsis).  Oh, and she's had an ileostomy, had it resealed. 
Twice.

Those of you with any or all of these issues, please reply.  I know a
paleo diet will help her, but wanted to get your thoughts and
experiences before I gave her advice to follow a strict paleo eating
regime.
