Doctors see all sorts, including lots of people with time on their
hands and weird "symptoms" that they want tests done for. I am not
implying you are one of these people, but I sympathize with doctors who
don't have enough time for the patients they have, let alone for the
hypochondriacs who steal so much more. Every test ordered means that
much more paperwork, at the least. The only things that might help
would be a dramatic increase in the number of doctors, which the AMA
will never permit, or a return to patient payment of medical fees, also
unlikely. So go to the lab from heaven and buy these tests on your own.
You can show the results to your Doc afterward if you think it will
help.
