Thought you might find this interesting.  I spoke with friend of the
Martinez-Regino family who says at least one doctor says Anamarie has
"problems with her insulin levels".  No further information but, hey,
do the
math.  If I were in Vegas, I'd bet the insulin problem caused the
obesity,
not that the obesity caused the insulin problem.

If I learn any more, I'll let you know.

Also of note; social services leaked pertinent information on the case
in
the hours before yesterday's hearing.  What came next was a gag order.
News
media representatives are fighting this tooth and nail; freedom of
information.  The fine folks social services (or SS, if you know what
I
mean) sound like something right out of a Kafka novel.  They make me
sick.
So far, Anamarie is still in state custody.  Yes, she's seen her
parents
twice since she was taken away.  But that means she's been separated
from
her parents THREE times now.  Who's doing more damage; the parents or
the
authorities?
