Don't know about that, but my ex-sister-in-law (a
Filipino) used to prepare a dish where she chopped up
an entire chicken (flesh, bones, organs, and all) into
little tiny pieces, and then cooked it with rice and
veggies. I recall that most of the bones fragments
were very tender and easily chewed and swallowed.
