Thanks for the reference.  What levels does the study suggest is needed for
lowering Lp(a) levels?

Atkins wrote:  "A forceful and fast way to rein in blood fats is a daily dose
of 1.5-3.0 grams of niacin" (Atkins Newsletter 9/96).  Niacin also elevates
HDL levels by 15-35% (Internal Medicine News, 10/15/95, p. 41).  Atkins
recommends a flushless alternative, inositol hexanicotinate.
