I do.....also the flowers of Hibiscus, Day Lilies, Pansies,
Roses, Honeysuckle, Night Blooming Jasmine(careful
here....there's a Carolina Jasmine that's toxic).....My
County Agricultural Extension Service provides material
about such things....free....all you have to do is call them.
Perhaps your county has such a service too......

Many of the plants that are considered weeds here in
Florida are also edible and some are useful herbs....
Again, information from the Ag Service and a good
book on Florida wildflowers.......

Also...According to the Ag Service.....other parts of
many common vegetables....which we usually throw away
....are edible too......below, I've put the commonly eaten
part in ( )'s.....
Snap Beans.....(pods with seeds)....and the leaves
Beets......(roots).....and leaves
Broccoli.....(flowering head)....leaves and stems
Sweet Corn.....(kernals)....immature ears, tassels,
young leaves......and I suspect the pithy
part of the stem might be edible.....
Cucumber....(fruit)....stem tips and young leaves
Okra.....(pods)....leaves
Peas....(seeds).....young leaves
Sweet Potato.....(tuber)....leaves and stem shoots...
Squash....(fruit)....flowers, young leaves....

Even the Kudzu which is such a problem in the
Smoky Mountains is edible....the young leaves
can be used just like grape leaves....the tender
growing tips and flowers are edible....and I'm
told there is a tuber underground that is edible
but I've never had the energy to try to dig one
up.....they are quite deeply buried.....
