Hello All,

Since is the flu period and a lot of people will be coming down with flu/cold symptoms, I thought of sharing with you all my experience.

A week ago I woke up with a tingling in my throat, at first I thought it to be a food intolerance symptoms, boy was I wrong! A few days later the symptoms were more severe: High fever (39o C or 102.2o F.), tightness of the chest, dizzy, unable to swallow, severe forehead pain, runny rose, sneezing, nauseated, vomiting, diarrhea, night sweats, coughing, stuffy head, heavy mucous in the sinus and chest, whizzing.

I started to take "Echinaforce" 2 sublingual every 4 hours (for cold or flu), 3 cups of Pau D'Arco tea to prevent any infection from taking place also 1 Tylenol 2 for pain every 4 hours; I was determined to fight off whatever it is with no PX drugs. It is now a week later and feeling no better, decided to go and see the doctor, he was surprised to find no sign of infection, my lungs are perfectly clear; he said that for as long as I have a cough I am still highly contagious , should avoid contact with people as much as possible. (I guess I will be along this Christmas. :-) He went on to say that this kind of (flu/influenza can last up to 4 weeks) depending how strong ones immune system is. The last time I suffered from the flu/cold was 8 years ago, this year I was run down from a lot of stress do to visiting a family member whom was hospitalized for 2 weeks after bowel cancer sugary.

Be prepared don't let this happen to you. So, at the first sign of a flu/cold start taking medication to prevent it from attaching your immune system.

Happy Holiday everyone,

Clelia
