   hmmmm  , I must have been up too late reading that night.

  I thought champagnes were a no-no because of yeast ?
  
 Thing is we are not drinkers but the thought of adding  something different sounds interesting.
   
  Years back ( I'm older than dirt ) I could not drink wine because I got raging headaches from it but I will give it a try or just let hubby have a glass now & then. lol
   
  Or just forget it all together.

I like red, for the flavor, antioxidants, pycnogenols. It's arguably 
more natural, since it contains stuff from the skins as well. But 
yes, dry is much better than sweet.
