Toni, thank you for adressing the issue from this angle. It p****s me off to see
Sheryl eo displaying uneducated theories that confirm the nonsense there is
about dieting in general. As a 4 or 5 year member of this list I have seen a lot
passing by and ofcourse those that begin to explore this field can have
information from areas that others have looked into a long time ago. Yet I find
it stigmatising, insulting and showing little insight in human psyche to talk
this way about the way we should diet and look at what makes me sad when I eat.
I like to think it is meant well with help as a motivator but we are all adults
on this list and do not need to be talked at like children.
Wally made a good point when he advised members to look up on Gluceogenesis when
making statements about the need of carbs. We have a good database at the list,
use it! Being in the process of learning is a wonderful thing, just try to
refrain from judging others on the halfdeveloped theories that you may at this
point. When all the data is gathered and considered still respect for opinions
and lifestyles is a must.
Now I'll sit back and wait for the attacks to come my way for speaking my mind.

Christy
