The physician treating one of my clients refused to cooperate with her
request for blood glucose testing equipment to monitor her fasting glucose
on a daily basis.
 
I wrote: 

"What does your doctor imagine drives fat storage/weight gain, if not
insulin? And what does he imagine drives insulin production if not rising
blood glucose?" 
What I wish I had added is: 'How could you better monitor whether your blood
glucose is below levels that incite insulin production than with daily tests
of your fasting glucose?" 

One way of losing weight is to burn stored fat while sleeping.
