One doesn't exclude the other. they both are , with other many non original
( to the cow's genetic) molecules , contributing factor to this and many
other degenerative diseases.
Cows have been seen by a french writer of the 18 century to eat fish on the
beach, scandinavian farmers of the past were supplementing cows with fishes,
cows eat insects and their own placenta so i think it is safe to say that
eating animal parts are part of their original diet but in those exemples
there is a difference they were eating it raw allowing an instinctive
regulation to occur, and the availability  of their prey in the wild was
possible .
From there to deduct that for an herbivorous animal to eat heat  processed
left over of lamb is okay it is going too far .
I was looking today at informations on pelleted feed for animals , the feed
of pigs for exemple have nothing to do with what a wild boar could encounter
in the wild.
My opinion is that pesticides and other non natural molecules are more
easely recognised as foreign by the body  so more willlingly blocked to
absorbtion or eliminated than slightly deformed molecules or compounds
closed ( but non original) to what the genetic of the cow will expect to
encounter
Like in the post relativising the compared risks of Mad cow'disease with car
accidents ,i would like to suggest that maybe it is time to question the
seemingly  innocuous consequences of denaturing our foods thru cooking .
In our kitchens there is may be more new unatural  chemical compound created
than in chemical factories.
(Okay this being said , you can throw the tomatoes at me just make sure they
are raw.)
I know it is easier to scape goat something out of our own power than to
take responsibility of our own doing.
let's get mad at the manufacturers of junk meat instead of questionning the
innocuous gesture of buying the meat in supermarkets , restaurants and fast
food outlets ., it is more fun!
