This goes a long way to explain why sandwiches or bread in any form
gave me
severe heartburn! So much for the old standard of dry toast for
blandness
when ill.

The funny part is that two of the top three acid-producing foods (I
forget
the third) are hard cheeses and bread. So when the Carol Brady's of
this
world give Marcia, Jan and Cindy grilled cheddar samwhiches in an
effort to
build thier bones, they're doing just the opposite. Amazing!
