I tend to agree with you about need so many products, however, old
fashion soap is made with lye, look it up in the dictionary.

Baking soda is to abrasive for me...it wears on the enamel.

Mineral oil is a petroleum product..it's a carsinagyen.

You've got that right!  Natural doesn't always mean "SAFE"  Mineral oil
is natural...Not safe.  A lot of the so called Natural products at the
health food stores are Not Safe, they con tain ingredients such as
Sodium Laural Sulfate, and Polypropene Glycol...carsinagens.
