It is impossible to find a dehydrator in a store here. The reason I have
managed to get one is that a friend of mine had one wich I borrowed now
and then (before going paleo), so I got the telephone number from her
and could order one myself. It is actually made in Sweden.

I have not tried Kirts dehydrating idea, buying a wire mesh (stainless)
and an ordinary table fan, but I think it works. I always use a low
temperature anyway, just a little above room temp.
