We are not victims of a contaminated food supply . the way the food supply
is organised is the result of the concept of cheap foods .It is done by
customers .
in the wild no food are cheap it require work that urban populations choose
to be exempt from .
Some farmers will be more than willing to focus on quality but most
customers don't want to pay more and most of all like convenience (
supermarkets great invention to deresponsibly feed oneself ).
customers like the idea of taking supplements but are resistant to feed
thenselves properlly.
In that context antibiotics serve a purpose .
I am a farmer myself who quit commercialising foods because of that .
In this island we are a big bunch of organic growers who despite the
willingness of local peoples to buy quality ( we have an organic coop ) are
struggling to makes a living .But the local supplement producer of " green
plus " is making a fortune . an other consequence of this reverse state of
affair , the best local farm lands get sold to rich retired urbanits who
don't farm .
