Red palm oil is made from the fruit of the palms.
It'r red from the carotenes... it has vitamin E and what's quite unique
some kind of "turbo"-Vitamin E: tocotrienols.

I once have seen it in an asian market.
But I get mine from a wholeseller (

They have it in a quality which is more firm (like coconut oil) and in a
  more liquid phase whith the same vitamins but just a little more LA
(10%). The liquid quality I use to make a skin oil.
