Thanks, Darcey. And your nut bars sound scrumptious. LOL....Just what I
need is another recipe to get hooked on.

I found the carb count for arrowroot. One cup = 112.8 gms. In reality,
give or take a few carbs depending on how much goes into the cup since it
settles easily. The Paleo bread recipe calls for 1/4 c, so there's 28.2 g
in the whole panful, or 2.35 g in each of the 12 slices I cut.

More questions:

Anybody know the amount of fiber in arrowroot so I can get the digestible
carb count? I'm looking for every excuse to eat more. <g>

Corinne Netzer's book says pecan *flour* (what I have is labeled pecan
*meal*) has 14.4 carbs per 1 oz. Am I correct that this refers to weight,
not cup measure? What I need is the carb (and fiber) count for a cupful of
pecan meal (or flour). Can anybody supply the info? And if you've got the
fat content, I'd appreciate that too.

I don't count cals or carbs as a habit, but there's probably not a lot of
room among my other daily fare to add too many more of either. This stuff
is so good I need some kind of brake to apply to overindulgence. In spite
of what *Lights Out* says about gorging and fattening up in summer, the only
time of the year I ever get a raging appetite is late fall going into
winter. It's gotta be some kind of danged evolutionary holdover to become
so food obsessed and inordinately hungry as soon as cold hits. Anybody else
ever experience this?

Theola
