Oh absolutely - sorry. I am taking Cytomel (T3) for hypothyroidism and about
2 months ago I added hydrocortisone for adrenal insufficiency. Since adding
the latter I feel a little better but really would like to go off of it.

When I wasn't taking HC not only was I depressed, but I felt like I couldn't
function. It's like *I* went away and when I take it *I* come back. What I
mean by that is I am normally a happy, positive, funny, outgoing person with
high concentration and fairly sharp thinking. I hope that does not sound
conceded. I am a database programmer and I used to be able to concentrate on
my programs no matter how much noise there was around me. Now, without HC I
am negative, I have to work on thinking positive thoughts, healing seems
impossible, I cannot for the life of me concentrate even on a book like
Neanderthin for example, I have no motivation, and all I want to do is sit
around and watch TV and knit socks. It feels very dark and it's like I can't
get to my thoughts - I am sure there is a better way to describe it. I was
unable to wrap my thoughts around my programs and then my contract ended due
to budget cuts. When I take HC thinking positive thoughts comes more
naturally, I can concentrate a little better, I have more energy, I have
more motivation, etc. - I feel like ME again.

Kristina

May I ask what the medication is for?
