I actually lucked out and found one of the best heart doctors around, and he's one of the few I don't want to spit on, lol.  He listens to me, respects me, and works with me.  Pretty amazing compared to most docs I've met..  But I'm still not thrilled to be on a drug, to say the least.  I'm also taking a NOW brand product, but it's the Magnesium and Potassium Aspartate with Taurine.  I just recently started taking it, so am not sure if it's really doing any good.  What's your thoughts on that stuff??

I've seen you guys talk about pemmican in here, but mostly skimmed the posts and didn't pay that much attention, unfortunately.  How do you make it, and how much do you eat to keep the dreaded SVT at bay??  It was funny, I had a "spell" at my part-time job one night, which is cleaning the dialysis center here in town.  The nurse and tech who work the second shift are awesome and funny and we've become really good friends, so they noticed the minute I walked in that something wasn't right.  I 'splained to them (Lucy, hehe) in the haltering voice we get when that happens, and they took my pulse at 100 and it freaked them out and they wanted me to go to the ER, lol.  Shoot, that's NOTHING, I told them...mine tops out at 220 when they can't even count past that, lol.

Anyway, I would sure love to know how you make and use the pemmican.  I'm sure it's in the Files on this site online, but I have had NO LUCK accessing that site, although I've tried many times over the years, so I have to make do with what comes through my Inbox.  I am still more than willing to try something else, but when I was having these stoopid heart-poundies for HOURS on a daily basis and couldn't even hardly walk to the bathroom, I had to do SOMETHING, and that something was drugs, at least around this area where alternative health isn't easily found, sigh.

Again, I appreciate all the conversations we've had, William!!  Thanks so much!!

Love,
Bren

PS  And to the list owner...I apologize for my cranky emails to you the other night.  I still stand by what I said...not understanding why we're limited to a certain amount of posts when something comes up that we're really interested in learning more about, but I could have worded it in a nicer way.  (No, you guys, I didn't cuss at him, lol.)  Anyway, I'm sorry.  I'm just curious why that rule is here???

Pemmican suppresses my SVT. Potassium gluconate (powder, NOW brand) had a good effect too, but I don't like the chemical way which can be too complicated.
While pemmican has not a screaming wonderful taste sensation celebrated by gourmets, it does not taste like raw meat either.

I tried the doctor way for years. I hope that yours is wiser than any of mine.

William
