Hi Kristina,

Fermented vegetables are thought to help with the growth and 
re-establishment of good bacteria. Things like kimchee (korean pickles) or 
sauerkraut are examples off the top of my head but there are other 
fermentented foods that would be equally effective. Kefir from kefir seeds 
can be made dairy free as well.
