It would be interesting if they did a cross-research with other groups that
have been/are malnutritioned. Like anorexics, vegetarians (sorry Amadeus, no
offense mate), people with a menu lacking variation etc...
As a Dutchy I find it quite interesting and wonder if there are other factors
linking the women. Have they maybe eaten tulip-bulbs like some people here did
during the famine in WWII? Was there pollution in the air from burning
anything they could lay there hands on or other sources to keep warm and were
they more vulnerable to it due to lack of nutrition?
I firmly believe that a close-as-possible-to-nature diet protects the best
from anything that might hit us. This famine with resulting eating anything
you could lay your hands on could be a signal to nature that the chances of
these women to breed were not optimum and might trigger disease. Still a
puzzle why they are more prone to this particular type of cancer and I'd like
to know if other diseases plague the same group as well.
Next week I'll be out of the country but when I return I will try to contact
the researchers and try to find out more.

Christy
