Justin,

All berries are low-glyceminc. Strawberries provide larger portions for a
given # of carb grams, compared to blueberries. Using Barry Sear's Zone
blocks, 9 grams carbs = 1 cup strawberries or raspberries = 3/4 cup
boysenberries =  1/2 cup blueberries.

I always keep the freezer stocked with two or three types of frozen,
unsweetened fruit. It's a great convenience food for snacks, desserts, or a
nice addition to a meat and veggie meal (thawed overnight or eaten frozen).
The frozen fruits are great for smoothies too. A girlfriend of mine swears
by frozen blueberries. Her two young boys (2 1/2 and 4 1/2) love to eat
them frozen. That's one of their ideas of a real treat.

Rachel
