They are edible raw however.

Spelt (a wheat relative) is edible raw too, but has to be grounded
and soaked overnight. I used to have it as brakfast, for years.
Together with nuts and apples, maybe banana and cream.
But no raisins, dates, citrus fruit or any sweet things.
Such a muesli should never be sweetened.

Once my wife made such a muesli -we call it "Frischkornbrei" (mush of fresh
grains) and happened to drink sparkling wine and orange juice with it
(it was her birthday). The result was such pain in the stomach that we
thought her to be ill. But it just was a gas bubble.
Fresh muesli preparations are *very* effective in boosting the symbiont gut
population. Adding sweet things shows the ill effect of sweets on gut
population quite drastic.

Oats we used (raw) if we forgot to soak spelt overnight.
It needs just to be soaked for a few minutes. If oats is soaked overnight
the whole thing can get a bitter taste.

It may be that there are some more acceptable readymade mixtures.
But most of it -all that flaces or multi-corn mixtures are just crap. imo.
They are ment to inject sugar into kids.
If one wants ready made - there's plain rolled oats.
Now i know they are steamed from Rachel - i think such are cooked anyway.

All fresh prepaarations i made were always fresh ground and these really
work differently.
Meanwhile i wonder why all this raw spelt didn't show any deleterious
effects. But to the effect was very good on the stomach and guts.
Problems arise when mixing such with any sweets (also from tea).

Tomorrow I'm thinking of some oats. Paleo or not.
They grow as a beach grass. Yeeees its edible raw.
