This may have in fact been a reference to a trial of a ketogenic diet in
teh seventies where not only was it severely calorie restricted, but the
protein source was questionable to say the least. needless to say people
did die from it, but it is hardly a model to compare a ketogenic diet to
let alone a paleo diet
