The Mis-measure of Man by Stephen Jay Gould is a really good book with
the
later chapters discussing the origin of IQ tests and how they were
used to
discriminate against immigrants early in the 20th century.

Hey all you smart people,
I'm researching the origins of the standard IQ tests. Does anyone know
book
titles, web sites, etc. for me to chase on the subject of their
origins,
purpose, and whatever else............I'm wanting to dig up dirt.

Thanks,
Beth
