        I've spent many a year hanging around low-carb dieting discussion
groups, and many, many people report cessation of acid reflux disease
symptoms upon adopting a low-carb diet - not necessarily paleo.  I was
certainly tormented with acid reflux on a strict low-fat diet before I went
low-carb, and now, nary a peep unless I eat onions or such.

        I wonder what the mechanism is here?  "Less bloating" is the only
explanation I can come up with, not very scientific.
