An interesting point about the cohabitation of man and dogs is written in
"I, The Aboriginal". I don't have the name of the author with me (we are
away from home for the winter). It is written by an Australian Aboriginal,
a very interesting read.

I am feeding my Lab as paleo as I can in this day and time. I got her when
she was 8 weeks old and she has never had dog food. She is so healthy and
has the most beautiful teeth I have ever seen on a dog. Everyone comments
on her teeth. She is a year and a half old now.
We encourage her to hunt mice and rabbits out here in the toolies. She has
a great nose and has had several successes. She buries what she cannot eat.
Good luck with your pup. I am interested in knowing what you find in your
search.
Jan
