>that osteoporosis is best explained by excessive salt, caffeine, inadequate
>sunlight (vitamin D) and exercise
there is one factor that is missing that come from my own experience.
i have been diagnosed with osteoporosis , i eat moderate to small amount of
salt, i quitted coffee 20 years ago and don't have access to hidden sources
of cafeine , i get lot of outdoor exercices and sunlight , so i don't have
the normal profile of an osteoporosis patient.
But i am taking cortisone for 19 years and thyroxine for 14 , it is known
that exess cortisone is a cause of osteoporosis. so the element in your list
that is lacking is STRESS of any kind obliging the adrenals to produce more
cortisone. When stress is chronique it must lead to bone reabsorbtion.
so be relax might do a lot in keeping your bone density.
MY theory, no scientific backup except the cortisone influence on
osteoporosis. take the advice with a relax attitude anyway , it can't harm.
