 If you wanted more fat, just kill another one, there's

Though it may sound a little light hearted the above is accurate - they
live in large groups, and are easy to hunt. There is also some evidence
that they were hunted in such a way that a lot of the  kangaroo was
wasted, and the same is true of other wildlife.
