Can you turn the heating element entirely OFF on an Excaliber? It is so
humid in our part of Hawaii that our typical drying techniques (fan on wore
mesh) are very unpredictable. And we are on limited electricity which can't
stand a heating element of any kind for long. My thought is to put the
whole contraption in the oven which has a pilot light.
