My friend shot another deer Sunday.  He's going to give me some meat,
bones and fat.

My dog, cat and I know what to do with the meat, but I have a couple of
questions:

o  Are raw deer bones (mostly spine vertebrae with marrow) safe for my
dog?

o  Is there any use that I can make of the fat, other than to feed it to
my animals and use it as suet
    for the birds?  Apparently, the deer was a real porker and I'm going
to get a lot of fat.
