I had some cooked mashed turnips and carrots at Thanksgiving and loved it.
But what I'm wondering is if they're allowed on Neanderthin. Karl M.
replied yesterday that they're evil (in Karl's colorful way <g>), and I'm
taking that as a nay. I need to go back and re-read the book. I guess
I've forgotten some stuff.

Thanks,
John Pavao

John:

Turnips are delicious raw. A little hot like radishes. Orientals put
mild vinegar and soy sauce on shredded turnip for salad. Try one and
then see if you want to grow them.
